Thanks to a leakage report undertaken by Zeco, we identified that Newcastle Racecourse was wasting significant amounts of potable water because an old underground water network with a significant number of leaks.

Having passed through the water company’s revenue meter, Newcastle racecourse were paying their water company approximately £80,000 per year more than they needed to be and wasting water.

Cheltenham Racecourse

During race days, when water demand is at its highest, Cheltenham Racecourse experienced loss of pressure and some buildings had limited water supply. The water provider would not offer the service of increasing pressure in the water network in the area, so what could the racecourse do to enable the site to have enough water over the duration of a festival?
